My Sticker Storage

My sticker collection definitely isn’t as big as some I have seen, but I’d definitely say it is substantial. Planning and journalling is my main hobby, though time to do it is honestly super limited being a single parent and working full time, whilst running TPD in the background. Given this, my stickers need to be super organised so I can find what I need quickly.

My sticker storage system is quite regimented, and though it has changed over the years I am pretty set now in this format, having used it for over a year. I am very lucky to have two fabulous friends who own planner shops (Joanne of Josephine Bow and Anna of Plannerface) so it isn’t hard for me to find albums whenever I need them, and as my sticker collection grows, so does my album collection! My stickers are separated into categories; Standard Vertical Kits (SVKs), journalling kits, icon/character stickers, foil and other journalling stickers which are then broken down further in my storage.

I really enjoy allocating kits in advance because my 7 x 9 Tilly Journals coiled planner solely uses SVKs, and as this is my main memory planner I spend a lot of time thinking of which kits I will use for each week. Each year I have 2 albums for kit allocation (one for the current year and one for the following year). I set these up using my Dymo label printer, and then slot the kits into the relevant weeks.

Alongside this, I often have SVKs which I love and purchase, but don’t have a specific week for, so these are placed in a third SVK album which is for un-allocated kits. This makes it easy for me to pick out kits if ever I have a week where nothing of note is happening, or if I need to do a swap out due to last minute plans.

My journalling sticker collection has grown immensely over the past year (thanks to Anna for humouring all my requests!). I have separated my collection into kits, letters and journalling sheets. All 3 of these have a large album each, but soon my journalling kit one is going to be full! Thankfully I have already got a new album from Josephine Bow to take the overflow. My final large album holds my foiled overlay kits. I only ever use foil for special occasions so these comfortably sit in one album.

Alongside my main albums, I also have 2 smaller albums which house specific sticker sheets, such as my theatre sheets from Letters to July. These don’t really fit into a category for my quarter sheet box, so I just keep them separately. I also keep my PR freebies in here, as I keep at least one of each for memories. I have almost 4 years worth of Plannerface PR freebies!

The pièce de résistance is my icon/character collection, which is stored in my 3D printed box which was a gift from Anna (though maybe keep your eyes peeled for these coming to Plannerface soon!). Alongside this I have a whole range of reusable sticker albums in the same categories for leftovers and stickers I receive on samplers. Last year I created a YouTube video on how I handmade my custom dividers using Josephine Bow vellum & tabs, alongside Plannerface custom scripts, so definitely check this out here if you want to recreate the storage. I recently reconfigured my categories to make them easier to navigate, and when I do my spreads I find flicking through these so easy. It definitely encouraged me to use a variation of stickers, rather than just sticking to my favourite sheets. It is such an easy way to see what sheets you have and get a variety across the spreads.

Overall my sticker collection is pretty much set in stone for me now. It works so well for my various methods of planning and I find it so aesthetically pleasing to look at too. How does it compare to your sticker storage? I’d love to know. I can’t see that I will stray away from this anytime soon, but who knows! I hope you enjoyed reading how I organise my very large sticker collection!
